North Post 7 split two games at the Wally Evans Memorial AA Legion tournament on Friday at Arlington.
Post 7 defeated Burlington 7-2 and later lost to Arlington 6-2.
In the first-game victory, Dan Herda hit a tworun home run and Ben Fox pitched a completegame victory with eight strikeouts.
Herda added a two-run single for Post 7’s lone runs in the second game.
The 10-team tournament lasts through Sunday.
