The Bellingham Bells were shut out 7-0 on Thursday at Wenatchee in West Coast Collegiate Baseball League action as they were swept in the three-game set.

Bells starting pitcher Matt Stabelfeld (0-1) gave up six hits, five runs — two earned — in 4 1/3 innings and struck out three and walked three.

Wenatchee pitchers of Steve Ames and Owen Jones combined to hold the Bells to five hits as Bellingham’s Sean Halton was the only player with multiple hits at 2 for 4.

The Bells were also hampered by three errors.

The Bells start a three-game series at 7 p.m. tonight at Bend before returning home for a six game homestand, starting Tuesday.
