LEGION: North Post 7 and South Post 7 pick up victories

South Post 7 defeated Lake Stevens 9-8 for its third win in a row in an AA Legion baseball game on Wednesday at Lake Stevens.

Elijah Christie was 2 for 5 with three RBI and Tanner Krysinski was 2 for 4 with two RBI for South Post 7. Krysinski also came in with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning and struck out the final batter for the save. Kyle Buckham earned the victory for South Post 7 (7-14).

Westin Smith pitched three innings of scoreless relief as North Post 7 defeated Everett 10-8 in AA Legion action at Bellingham.

Andrew Forhan was 3 for 4 with two runs, Dan Herda was 2 for 4 with two RBI and three runs, and Sean Hagerty was 2 for 4 with three RBI for North Post 7 (17-6).
