Sex offender moves to Samish Way

BELLINGHAM - Level III sex offender Steven T. Willman, 28, has moved into the Samish Way neighborhood, according to the Bellingham Police Department.
Willman is described as 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds, with blue eyes and blond hair. His vehicle is a 1978 Monaco motor home, with the Washington state license plate 602 RAA.
In July 2006, Willman was convicted in Whatcom County of third-degree rape and second-degree assault. Both convictions stem from the sexual assault of disabled women in a transient camp.
Willman is under Department of Corrections supervision. Level III offenders are those deemed most likely to reoffend.
