BELLINGHAM - Ten storage units at Public Storage at 458 E. McLeod Road were burglarized Nov. 16, according to the Bellingham Police Department.
About $2,200 in items, ranging from electronics to hiking gear to a jukebox, were stolen from three of the units, said Bellingham Police Lt. Steve Felmley. The renters of the other seven units had not filed reports with Bellingham Police as of Wednesday morning, Nov. 26.
The burglar broke into the storage units by cutting off some locks. A Public Storage employee and a renter discovered the break-in around 11 p.m. Nov. 16, Felmley said.
Police are reviewing surveillance video from the burglary.
Public Storage employees referred calls to a district office, which did not return a message Wednesday.
