Q: When does my child have to pass the WASL to graduate?

A: "Students graduating 2008-2012 don't have to pass the math or science tests to graduate. To meet state standards instead, students can continue to take the test and supplement it with an extra math credit each year, or collect a body of work throughout the year to demonstrate their proficiency. Students graduating in 2013 will have to pass the math and science WASL to graduate."
